I’ve been using my cross bike as a road bike the last few years and am thinking about building up an official roadie. I don’t want to break the bank, so am looking for something probably a few years old. Doesn’t have to be in perfect shape, but no dents or major dings. I’ve got most of the components I’ll need, but if you’ve got a few pieces still stuck on there, I’d consider that too (will need brakes for sure). I might even consider a full build if the deal is right.
I have this hanging in my garage collecting dust, I was thinking about a single speed conversion but selling it might a good way to go as well. It’s a Cannondale R1000, I think it’s 2006 or 2007, with around 1200 miles on it. I pulled all the components off for a Litespeed build I did last summer. It’s in very good shape, no dents of bad spots in the paint. It could include a seat post and seat pictured if you wanted, chainring as well (FSA)!?!? Let me know if you’re interested and I can take better pictures and get you more details.
I know your looking for just a frame, but I just got a felt F4 SL that I just cannot longer hang onto, with bills piling up. It has to go. Its a custom build with all new full SRAM force build. I can send pics if you want.
Would you be interested in trading your Cannondale for a Zipp2001. I presently have 3 Zipp’s and have been looking to trade one for a roadbike in a 54 or 56. My Zipp’s are all 650c so I can include a set of rims also. if you could do the same. My zipp’s are Large Frame / Large Beam so it can go from 56 to 62.
