Hey, Im building up a cyclocross bike for this winter… im on a very thight high school student budget so im gonna run a single speed up front so i only need a right hand/rear shifter, preferably 105 in intrest of cost, but a good deal on ultegra or dura ace will be considered. thanks
Not sure of your parts situation, but have you though about running 9 speed or a barcon? Might be cheaper.
Ive thought about 9 speed but all of my wheels have 10s and i already have a 10s chain, so the hassle of switching out cassettes often, coupled with the price of getting new cassettes and a chain made that option less apealing. Ive also thought of barcons, but would perfer sti, if i can find a good deal, which is what i am trying to do here…
