Wrong Size Wetsuit (just a little) or Fast Skin for a half Mile Swim Part of a race this weekend See Story

I got a Ironman Medium Large I am about 10-15 pounds small for it. I swam in it the other day and it felt okay but that maybe some water was pooling up in the back area? And my neck strap cam undone but that might be unrelated. But it felt tight no water coming in the chest area or legs?

Or I got a speedo FSII race suit that I would use from start to finish. Fits perfect.

What does everyone think.

Water temps should be higher so coldness not really a factor. Just fit.

I was thinking of doing a timed training day with both and see which is faster?

If you hurry there are HUGE sales on Cadbury eggs right now and various other delicious Easter Treats (peeps included). This might help solve your problem.

very good point ha ha ha.

is this for collegiate sprint?

no I am past college. Just a bama grad/fan

rent one that fits. It will be much faster.

If your a decent swimmer, I’d go with the FSII. With it being just a .5 miler and no temperature concerns, the FSII will give you faster T1 and its something you know fits (right?).
