I’m new to the forum and search for any answers to this as best as I could.

I bought new bar end shifters, DA SL-BS77, 9spd. It says that they are only compatible with DA derailleurs, I currenty have Ultegra and don’t want to switch. If they are not compatible, which ones should I purchase?

They will work with your Ultegra 6500 derailleurs.

you can mix/match any of the 9sp Dura Ace and Ultegra components, and even 9 and 10 speed if you know what works (e.g. derailleurs, cranks)
