Nick, this really looked great! Sorry I missed you when I came by.
cool, thank you. I wish you guys still had the demo program that got me to first try a V8, but I will stop by bicycle speed shop here in Houston and see if they have one I can take for a spin. I am quite content with my Power saddle but curious to try it.
Our current demo program just asks you to buy the saddle upfront, but with a 30 day no questions asked return policy.
our prior program required you to pay the shipping to send the no-cost-up-front saddle on to the next person, and some people had a pretty big issue with that, so we just changed it slightly.
Are the metal saddles shipping soon?
Now starting end of April to early May.
We receive our first batch early next week and as soon as we are back the following week of April 20th from Sea Otter, they will be in the mail to customers, and then shipping weekly from there on.
we took a bit more time to test two different possible construction methods head-to-head and we chose the one that withstood the most repetitions at 2,200N (~495lb). They both passed the ebike standard of 200,000 reps at 1,400N (~315lb).
we will have carbon and metal rail versions of all four models we are offering on display and available for testing at Sea Otter next week.
sales are live: METAL ā Wove
Any discount available for STwitchers?
We do not offer discounts, but we do have shops that work with teams like Zoot, Trevor Foley racing, and escape collective members to offer those team members discounted pricing.
Placed an order for a Mags and M8, looking forward to trying them out Nick!
And also now for sale on the Slowtwitch store:
@Nick_wovebike I just put in an order, super psyched!
Hi Nick, I have been using the V8 and really like it but I usually prefer narrower saddles as I do get some chafing and have been experiencing that with the V8 as well but to a lesser extent than I normally do. Would I be better suited for the M8 or could it just be a setup or seating position issue?
Go ahead and shoot me a video so I can take a look at your seated position
Just put in my order as well - V8 Metal
!!!
ā¦and a public shout out to @Nick_wovebike for taking the time to help people individually and patiently. Iām a recipient of Nickās help with position via video and a handful of questions. Matthew, head of marketing @ Wove, is a super solid dude as well!
After 12+ years on Fizik, my undercarriage is looking forward to my new V8. I demoād the saddle a month ago and it was amazing out of the boxā¦
I just got the V8 saddle but was told when I ordered it that I needed oval rail adapters from Canyon. I ordered the part from Canyon but it doesnāt look correct for my current seat post/clamp Canyon GP0224-02 Adapter Oval Rails | CANYON US .
I have a 2024 Canyon Speedmax SLX 8 Di2 TT bike. Existing clamp is a top/bottom (not side to side). Do I need an adapter for the oval rails on the Wove saddle or am I good? Attached is a pic with my current Dash saddle. Thanks for any help, looking forward to trying out the Wove!
Your clamp is a top and bottom clamp, so that makes it agnostic to rail height. So your clamp will work with round rails, like your dash saddle, or oval rails like ours
