First use of our CF-plate BTS kit in a pro race, on Trevor Foley’s setup who ended up winning Ironman New Zealand yesterday after an impressive 2h35 run (AWESOME for Trevor!)
Pretty cool!
Note: the roads on that course seem ROUGH at times!
His set up faired far better than Fred Funks EZ Gains that was holding on for dear life for what looked to be an hour before finally falling off. In short, far better engineering put into your solution.
Pro Jamie Hayes posted a pic of his EZ Gains fin snapped in half.
Isn’t the EZ Gains stuff 3D printed, or am I missing something here?
It is.
The EZGains is 3D printed, but not by FDM (Consumer-type printers); Not sure if this is SLS or Multi-Jet fusion - I assume the latter - but it is much better printing technology and layer adhesion than the regular 3D printed accessories you find on Etsy and such (FDM).
Sneak peak of F8
Metal rail saddles being iso tested currently. No carbon seams on bottom of shell which encapsulates the metal plate the solid steel rails are bonded to
Our 2026 Road/Gravel bike being revealed at MidSouth. We build these type of bikes around our saddles to be activation pieces at expos and for media articles - we will only makes saddles and saddle accessories.
Shut up and take my money
No but seriously I can’t wait for the metal railed saddle to be available in Germany. I can justify the price without having my wife kill me.
keep an eye on Schicke Mütze in Düsseldorf and online at Radsport Ibert and R2 ![]()
I was riding behind Fred for a good ‘30 mins just watching that thing bounce looser & looser until it popped off right in front of me hahah. System worked great, especially leaving T1 (talking about the mounting system)
