I was admiring my wife in tight jeans yesterday; she’s been hitting the spinning studio and running with friends. DAMN, her body is distracting.
Additionally, I’ve got newly apparent veins from running more hills than usual, and better power on the bike from strength training. Not sure she’s noticed those.
So the quandary is: with VERY limited amounts of time to split for race training (me), and exercise (her), should I give up a run now and then for her to get a workout more often? What a freaking devil’s bargain.
Oh and by the way I’ll go ahead and set the over/under on “How good is the sex?” at 3.5 replies.

We both sacrifice so the other can ‘keep it tight’. Gym mberships, free time, early mornings.
Hang a pull up bar in a doorway and find time for a couple hundred push ups/week. I figure I need to be below 10% bodyfat in order to worry about a couple lbs of pecs/delts/lats that help with swimming anyways.
I usually try to put on a little bit of weight in the offseason so I don’t waste away just doing s/b/r most of the summer.

At least make the humble brag less obvious.
That was unintentional . . . If we were 6+s I’d have posted pictures. It’s all relative.

If you let yourself go and she looks fine, thoughts can wander. Same for vice versa I guess. Quite the question.
split the time, maybe more for you when in intense IM training (and it cant be always), and more for her when in your off season. Its nice to have a beautiful bike, but its nicer to have a beautiful wife. #my2cts
I am a little confused on why time has to be split for workouts? Kids, I presume?
Both of the gyms I have memberships at have child care. Is that an option so you can both workout at the same time?
Our gym has childcare, but it doesn’t open until 8am. That’s why I am up at 4:30am M-F, so we can both get in workouts before work. We can go in together on Saturdays. We both look good.
