Would you choose FSA?

I have DA 10, so its a moot question. Do you like black or chrome?

If you’re question was more directed toward ISIS, Octilink or square taper BB users…I’d say that the upgrade is noticeable.

Campy will figure this out or come out with something better.

So, once you are at DA or Record, why go anywhere else? Just wanted to know if FSA top-of-the-line products are any better than DA or Record.

Just the name “Full Speed Ahead” sounds so goofy to me that I wouldn’t use it, no matter how great the product.

I like FSA because they are filling the gaps that Campy/Shimano leave wide open. When Shimano went external, Campy went compact. FSA does both.

Funny how it works…they must attend each other’s marketing meetings. Just like those rascals at Litespeed and QR. ;o)

Overall I really do think we need more options. When/if SRAM comes out with a hollow pin 10 speed chain I’ll be doing backflips…heck, a new road groupo and I’ll be dancing in the streets.

Back to your question - I’m biased towards (my perceived or actual) the stiffness of DA 7800 cranks…and would consider FSA to be one very small notch behind. In actuality, perhaps not true…

I would. The cycling guru who’s opinion I value above all others digs the Mega XO BB concept. He just isn’t wrong about this kind of stuff…
