Hi. I’m right at 6 ft, 32" inseam. My roadie is a 56 cm Cervelo that I ride w/ a 100 cm stem and the saddle right in the middle of the rails on a Thompson zero-setback post. Saw a nice deal on a 54 cm Felt and looking for advice if it’d fit me or not. I will likely ride it around 76 degrees. Thoughts!
It might – I am 5’10" with a 30" inseam and I ride a 54cm B2 (2008 model). They come with 3 stem lengths so if you raised the seat up a little higher and used one of the longer stems you might fit. The 56cm would probably be a better size though…
Where did you see the deal?
5’9" with a 31" inseam. 54 cm B12 and 56 cm Trek Madone (and previously a 56 cm Canondale Caad 8).
I think it would probably fit, esecially if you are riding at 76 degrees. The Felts run big so don’t buy too big. For comparision I think a 54 Felt is effectively a fair amount larger than a medium Transition. I am 5’10 and was racing a 54 Felt in 2008- It was too big for me.

All I have to say is that some of the inseams listed here do not seem right. I have been told(by multiple folks) that I have a long torse relative to my legs. That is at 5-9 with 32.25 inseam.
Some of these folks must look like gorillas.
I ride a 52 DA, 100 stem, back setting on seatpost.
Just so you know how much closer to normal you are than some other folks…
I am an inch taller and my legs are over 4" longer.

Hahaha that’s my pants inseam size. You made me self-conscious so I just went out and measured – from the bottom of my heel to my crotch is 32". I recall that years ago my pants used to be 32" inseam but then all of a sudden those were too long and only 30" inseam fit. So either I shrank or they changed how they measure pants. In any case I am long-torsoed and I do look a bit like an orangutan.
A picture of me would show 5’9" (and a tad) and a 30.5" inseam.
I figured folks were listing their pant inseams.
I try 30 pant inseams, but after a few washings they shrink too much and end up above my ankles.
BTW, it is difficult to measure it yourself, get your SO to help!!
