I started a triathlon team comprised of members spread across the country. We are all friends or friends-of-friends. I’m printing uniform gear locally. Instead of waiting for checks to arrive, depositing them, and then paying for the printing, how much trouble would it be to become a credit card merchant?
I cannot spend much money on becoming a merchant; the gear is being sold at cost + shipping. I know that cc companies charge merchants some % fee and I would just pass that on with all the other base costs to the “customers.”
If anyone has advice on this I’d really appreciate it.
