Apparently the lone star tick can cause you to be allergic to meat. And it has come to Canada. Has this happened to anyone here? Should I be worried? I really like meat.
One of the adult leaders in my son’s Boy Scout troop got infected by one of these. He couldn’t eat red meat for a few years. I think he just got over it. I suggest not getting bitten by one.
