The World Triathlon podcast (discussed in the general thread) suggests a bike breakaway will be next to impossible, and a swim breakaway is more likely in the menâs race than the womenâs.
I want breakaways, but itâs awesome that the relays are racing and that itâs a sprint in the individual.

Pearson spoke on IG on a quick 2 min interview with usat elite. He took an longer than normal offseason, used T100 as a 1st race back and to âmake moneyâ lol (brother lives in San Fran area). No expectations for this race.
Will be interested to see how Hayden fairs in his first one back with most of the big hitters there.

Wilde, Cantero, Conway and Pearson coming off that bike together is going to be interesting, Wilde seems to have been at the front of that bike though.
