I don’t see how someone sees a similarity with this and triathlon? We are not though! Training is hard but athletes are definetely not though. We shave our legs, drop to anorexia weight, eat by measurement cups, got “tummy” issues so we drink speciality drinks like Infinit, cry like a biatch when we have a flat.
Now when people start drinking gatorade instead of specially formulated drinks, I might call it though but no, not now.

They are very good pictures. But like all pictures they cannot capture how bloody cold it was.
This was my 6 th time doing this event. In 2006 they were smashing the ice with sledge hammers and as fast as they were breaking it , it was reforming.
But this year the wind was the killer. First year ever they cut the course short for the mid to back of the packers because the amount of cases of Hypothermnia ( sp ). Going over one of the climbs on the the killing fields ( assualt course ) " That some poor bastard had just fallen and broken their leg ".
