Wireless sensor to use with HAC4

i want to use my HAC4 with both of my bikes. i have the cadence kit which comes with the handlebar “docking” part, so all i need is a wireless sensor.

are all those sensors compatable? or are there different standards?

Like I told you yesterday during our ride. No.

you need to buy a second bike kit to get the extra wheel sensor.

i have bought a couple from xxcycle.com (i think they are based in France but have used them to ship to US twice without an issue) and works great - makes the hac4 easily transferable between bikes regardless of whether they have cadence kits or not.

I recently bought a second mounting kit off ebay for about 50 USD. I am now looking for another one and can’t find one anywhere. The cadence kit is readily available but not the mounting kits. I’ll have to try the recommended link.

you can get the HAC4 plus (including the usb interface) for about 120 euros in germany now - so i’m a little reluctant to spend 100$ for the kit alone.

i know that “some” sensors (those that use 121khz) will work with the hac. i’d just hoped that somebody knows a cheap model that works since i don’t want to have to try them all.

so on your next big groupride - just rub shoulders for a few seconds with every guy who seems to have a wireless sensor and see what shows up on your display

ha - it works!
found an old sensor at the very bottom of my toolbox - changed battery, and it worked!
