Wired SRM & new Press Fit BB compatibility?

Im reaching out here to anyone knowledgeable on this dilemma. At current, many press fit style new frames, such as Scott, Trek, Giant etc that employ the press fit bottom bracket are not compatible with WIRED SRM cranksets. There is a clearance issue due to a 44mm ID (of the white case that contains the strain gauges) of the Wired SRM units is too small to clear the newer, larger BB shells which are generally in the neighbohood of 46mm in diameter.

Has anyone figured out a solution?

Some work- some don’t. Scott addict does not fit an SRM. Madone fits- just make sure that you have the thinner back cover on the cranks.

it will work with the addict…i have one. my teammate has one too. These were both FSA models.

I should have been specific- I was referring to the Dura-Ace unit.

Is there an aftermarket thinner cover?

Yes, But SRM has to do the change.
