Winter fat

So… How much weight have you gained since Thanksgiving ???

I did Ironman Western Australia (Nov. 28th) – I got on the scale this morning… UhGGGG!! I have gained 12 pounds.

Guess I better start training again.

about 4 lbs
.

5 or 6 pounds - I blame the microbrews, it really seems to bloat me out in a hurry. Hello six-pack, goodbye six-pack!

Think pony keg
.

I gained about 20 last year and promised to not let it happen again. So far, so good. It’s all about not eating until exhaustion. A little self control goes a long way.

I blame beer also. In Western Australia we visited Three Mircobrew pubs (and I had to buy some for home!!!) – Then when we returned to Hawaii we had Christmas Partys and birthday parties – all at Microbrews in Hawaii.

Jan. training needs to start soon!!

let’s just say it’s winter and my wife is pregnant.

winter weight + sympothy weight = not good

Lost 8 lbs since thanksgiving. hoping to only “give up” a few pounds over Christmas and New Years.

Since Thanksgiving -4; that still leaves me +6 from when I got hurt during August.

I’m not sure. When I look down I can’t see the scale. There a big lump in the way.

I gained about 1/2 a pound since thanksgiving. Now I’m a portly 146 lbs at 5’10"

dude you need to eat:)
.

Only about six pounds, but I’ve got two big workouts coming over Christmas break. Christmas Eve -7500 yards, 75 miles, 7.5 miles, NY Eve, 10,000, 100, 10. That last one is good for about 12-14000 calories. Christmas and NY day is all about eating and watching movies, football, whatever…

I usually lose a few pounds over the summer (muscle mass from going long) so this is my chance to put some of that back.

About 18 lbs since the end of July. (From 187 then to 205 now). I actually peaked at about 210 a few weeks ago.

This flux is pretty normal for me. I tend to gain weight as easily as I lose it (once I put my mind to it). I do like to be below 200 by the time I start my base, though.

I put on about 7 lbs every year by the end of the X-mas season. I’ll have ballooned up from 145 to about 152-55 by spring(5’10").

I actually feel “fat” once over 150 lbs, but admit my face looks less anorexic than it does at end season.

“I’ll have ballooned up from 145 to about 152-55 by spring(5’10”)."

Balooned? I’m 167 in fighting trim!! (6’0"). Currently 175 and climbing. I was 152 in college, and always worried about the possibility of falling through the storm-drain grates…

maybe one? sitting around and eating all day has to eventually do something.

Ive gained 20lbs since Ironman Wisconsin. Most of it was around thanksgiving.
