ETA - Question - in the last 10 or 15 years, has anyone seen or heard of Donald Trump telling an actual joke or actually laughing about something he found amusing that did not involve the suffering of others? I am certain I have no idea what Trump looks or sounds like when he laughs.

For a guy who is a Trump fan, you underestimate the weight of the President’s words.
Of course we have all heard of the Clinton Body Count thing. We- normal citizens (including LR posters, asshat comedians, Trump fans and haters) can make statements- humorous or otherwise- without the full force of the office of the President of the United State of America. Context is important and a tweet makes it difficult to understand his context. But, given his history of “Lock her up” and “crooked Hillary” etc it is difficult to actually ascertain what message he was sending.
I’m still of the mindset that when the President speaks, tweets, or otherwise communicates something, he is speaking for the nation with the weight of the nation on his shoulders. That view has been challenged of late. For example, it is disturbing to see him cuddle up to despots and profess their “love affair.” I still hold our leaders to a higher standard.
I honestly don’t know if he was being funny or if he is so consumed by anti Clinton things that he has lost perspective.
