Will I fit into a Men's Cycling Jersey?

Really want to buy a Garmin-Sharp jersey to ride around in this summer. But I’m a woman. Does anyone have any experience with this at all? If it helps I’m about 5’4" and 115lbs. But those guys are pretty tiny so I’m thinking I can fit into a men’s size.

Sizing is listed here

That is the best I can do. I am a man and have little knowledge of such matters. But seriously, if you posted this question on the women’s forum, I’d bet you’d get good answers.

Yes, you can probably fit a men’s S or XS (the Castelli race stuff is cut really small). It will fit like a “club” jersey since it won’t have the curve of the women’s line.

I guess it depends how your pounds are distributed ?

or better yet, why not the womens specific jersey by Garmin-Sharp. The only down side is its the 2012 kit not the new one:

If you think it might be a bit tight, I can pop around and help you get it on, …and off! Tight pullover type jersey/shirts are like straight-jackets when sweated up.

Thanks for the advice! I did check the sizing chart and the men’s chest and waist are about 5" larger than what my size would be. Guess I will just take the risk and see how it fits!
