Wildflower Camping - Campgrounds and Map?

  1. Does anyone have a link to a really good map that shows the campgrounds at Lake San Antonio and how they relate to the race locations? The best one I have comes from the Wildflower race site, from the “Parking and Shuttle Information” section of the site.

  2. My map shows me three campgrounds: Lynch, Redondo Vista, and Harris Creek. Are there any other campgrounds besides these? Which of all of these campgrounds are available to racers?

I plan to arrive Thursday afternoon. Which is the best campground or section of campground to shoot for?

Am I allowed to “save” a campground for friends arriving Friday? I’m not sure it’s even ethical/fair to do so, but if everyone else does it for their friends then I will too - maybe.

Don’t worry, all the good spots will be “saved” by folks arriving Wednesday.

There is really only one choice.

Lynch: reserved, so unless they’ve already told you about your spot, you’re out

Harris Creek: this is where they put the CalPoly students. If you want to party all night, then this is your spot.

Redondo Vista: for everyone else. It’s pretty large, so you should be able to find a spot, just how far out is the question.
