Don’t know if this thread is already running, if so, sorry . . .

How many ST’ers are signed up for WF next year, registration opened yesterday?? I’m in

Hawk

Im in, Ive done the 1/2 since I was 14, and this is my 3rd year.

I’m in. Did the Oly last year and doing the 1/2 this year. I know it’s not what it used to be but I still think it’s a very fun weekend and a good escape from Illinois.

Pat

I have done the Oly the last two years, but am looking at doing Napa 1/2 this year. Would do them both if they were not on the same weekend like last year.

Dave

Did it last year and although the race was cool the atmosphere was kind of a let down. Did the olympic though so maybe we’ll go back for the half…

I am in. I look forward to this race every year. Hot, cold, rain, mud, crowds, hills, prayers, nude aid stations, non nude aid stations, TNT. Its all good in my mind.

I’m in for the 1/2
.

Me and Mrs. Last Tri are in.

Cant wait some sweet redemption will be dealt out on the Wf course…

i’m in … 6th consecutive (3 oly, 3 long). should just be recovered enough from im-arizona to post a good day.

I’m in for my sixth consecutive WF in 2006. It will be my 2nd Long Course (1st was the rainy year of 2003 with the modified run course), and I’ve done the Olympic 4 times.

umm, you didn’t get the memo, there was no nudity at all last year and on that point, barely anything or anyone at the aid stations period. It was a fun course though but definetely not wild and crazy like I’ve always heard it would be:( Still might go back though…

I was going to do it, but opted to do Ralph’s instead this year. I’ll do WF next year I think, though. It’s only a week after the St. George tri (here in Utah), which is a great event. I hate it when there’s scheduling conflicts like that!

I suffered a minor anxiety attack this weekend because for the first time in five years I’m not going to be on the start list for WF. I’ve decided to throw everything I’ve got at IMCDA, so this year I’ll be in the middle of a vicious training block that weekend (and no, it doesn’t work to do races as long training days for me. Not sure why).

So much is said about the problems with WF, and they’re mostly true, but I don’t care. I still love that race.

Unfortunately I got the memo. Mile 4 was not the same, but the volunteers were still great. I will be there, hope you can make it.
