Handlebars look like they are tilted down too much, could be the stand though.
could’ve at least put some decent wheels on it…
well gee whiz I thought it was pretty well spec’d, what would you put on it then ?
How about some Nokon’s, some ZG breaks, some nice wheels…
See the R&A Cycles post from a few weeks ago.
that’s pretty box stock soloist if you ask me…
g
Sorry. Tough crowd.
actually… It’s a gorgeous ride. The DT swiss rims/hubs are sweet training wheels. But… if you’re going to spend the money for such a beautiful bike at least post it with Carbon Fiber wheels.

I have ridden this bike & theres nothing box stock about it, phenomenal accelleration & handling
.
Goddammit those STI levers are hideous…

yeah it is. nice but a stock da build.
this is more inline with what I would call a detailed build (although I hope by now Jens cleaned up the tape and cable runs):

The bars look about right to me…
good but nothing special about the components. I liked the R&A build couple of weeks ago…

“Phenominal”… LOL, as if there’s a difference between it and 100 other high end road bikes. No way can you feel it. You make it sound like a motorcycle!

I re-did the cabling, but didn’t bother with the tape, since I’m always changing things. Hell, I don’t even put tape on my TT bike. In the meantime, I switched skewers and tires and went to the much lighter AX-Lightness saddle. My scale says just under 13lbs (though it’s not real accurate). As set up below, it got me up Old La Honda road in 16:38 2 weeks ago. Now if ***I ***lose 5lbs, I might go sub-16 this year.

That bar-tape job… MY EYES!!! Please that picture down before you seriously damage someone elses eyes!!!
You make it sound like a motorcycle!
Ahem…the correct statement would be “You make it sound like a Goddam Harley!”
.
jens what size is that?
and btw i feel that speedplays are a weight weenie cheat, because sure the pedals weigh nothing but the cleats are friggin anchors. Time RXS titan carbon all the way.

That’s a 54. If you have R7 shoes, you only have to use part of the Speedplay cleat. I still have my original Speedplay pedals and they work great – easy in, easy out, nice float. I’ve tried a lot of others but always come back to Speedplay.
Are you referring to these Time RXS titan carbon?

yeah those pedals… the recall is for people who don’t know of a product called Loctite ![]()
i just finished building my 58 with sram force, havent weighed it yet but I’d guess it’s 15 something with Ksyrium ES wheels, zero Gs, SLR, fsa carbon cockpit… how much does that AX saddle weigh?

so you think all high end bikes are equal ? surely you are joking
