They just continue on down their path, as if it’s the only thing that they know. They hardly mention the news, - now, they’re going to do this “late report” on the last 24 hours?
They set themselves up and at the very least imply that “we are all things TDF.”
This not only a “doping” scandal, but it is a doping scandal that EFFECTS the RACE!! It is about doping, but it’s also about the RACE and the standings in the race. (The yellow jersey was removed from the race due to lying about his whereabouts, not because of doping).
I know that Verses isn’t set up to be a news agency. And it’s pretty clear that Le Equipe or others will be able to “break news” so much better. But I just find it extremely irritating that VERSES is AT THE RACE, - yet is somehow unable to properly cover the race…
Again, it’s a doping scandal yes, but it’s also about the race. IMO, this has been amazing that one of the best tours has turned into one of the worst in such a short amount of time, - it’s sad that VERSES can’t adequately cover either the race or its surrounding effects…
Dude, its Verus not Verses. Nobody is singing. Versus is not a news reporting organization. Just be happy with what you get, supplement it with the dozens of other news organizations which cover the TDF.

I don’t understand your complaint. The news about Ras started to break about late yesterday afternoon, the VS coverage starts at 8pm EST and is not live. That doesn’t give them much time to re-do their pre-stage show, or any of the commentary over the taped race. Are you saying they should have gone live on their pre-race show? Maybe this did warrant that.
hey they’re the only choice you’ve got. You dont like it, move to Germany where you can watch top notch Tour coverage every day… except for… oh nevermind.
You won’t hear me complaining-- compared to 25 years ago when the only coverage was the 1-2 hours on Sunday we got on CBS, or the ESPN 30 min a day through 90’s-- I’m quite pleased with OLN/Versus coverage.
I like the live coverage in the morning, I think they do a fine job. Did you watch the interviews they played this AM? Tune in to the pre-race show maybe? I honestly can’t see what you’re complaining about - unless perhaps your expectations for Versus are higher than mine (remember, it’s Versus, where bull riding makes them more money that the TDF…).
Exactly. They had 5 hours of live coverage the other day. Instead of complaining we should be sending them emails thanking them. Enjoy it while you can, it will be back to fat guys fishing and crazy guys bull riding next week.
