What is up with alex_m and his borderline obsessive hate for the color white?
I have no idea. Maybe he lives near us and rides for a lot of the year on dirty, muddy, wet and then dusty roads. Wearing white may not be the best choice. Of course, people are free to, but just know that after one ride, those white shorts may not be so white!
Now if you live in a place that is surgically clean, on pristine roads all year round - then go nuts with the white. Go all out, I say! 
It’s the same reason I gave up on white socks a number of years ago for cycling and running - it’s hard to keep them white!

I am disappointed alex did not answer, but I suppose he is either training 24/7, since he says cleaning white shoes or bar tape takes so much time away from training, or is out splashing red paint on people who wear white.
I don’t know. The last time I cut eye-holes in my white sheets and went out, the liberals got all offended.
