Why not to us a Ipod shuffle while biking

My brother told me last week in the weekly Lake Placid sprint triathlon he decided to tuck his Shuffle into his helmet. He said it went perfectly as he was able to put the helmet on quickly then easily slide the earphones in and off he went. About three miles in the shuffle slipped out his helmet and wedged between his brake and rim causing him to go flying into the bushes. The Ipod still works fine with a giant black gash in it.

He did this for a sprint? Why?

Same reason he wears his sunglasses in the night…

I failed to mention my brother is disturbed
.

yup…one of more than a handful of reasons.

long as the pod’s okay for better applications in the future…

that would make a cool commercial.

"Same reason he wears his sunglasses in the night… "

So he can, so he can, keep track of visions in his mind?

I have a hard time staying straight without music…can’t imagine how dangerous I would be if I was oblivious to everything around me with headphones on.

Almost as bad as the people that commute on their bike and listen to tunes…at leat in a organized race you don’t have to worry about cars as much

Does your wife know this?

HA HA

.

Not yet (just gf for now). I might be running low on my Mexican version of Viagra…need to make a run to TJ soon or keep my girl drunk so she doesn’t notice.

Its best when they pass out, and ask you the next morning how it was…that way you can make up all sorts of porn star stuff.
