I used to think that Lessing looked so uncomfortable because he was riding a soloist. Now I see he’s managed to look just as terrible on a Javelin. Won’t somebody fit this guy?

Why??? Somehow he still manages to ride fast. Everyone is unique and a ‘Non-Typical’ position on the bike seems to work for him.

Other than his upper arm to torso angle looking to acute (he looks like he is choking up on the bars), what is wrong with his position in the photo?

Poor guy, he’s also riding those damn heavy wheels. Looks like he’s pretty much clueless, he’ll never be ANYBODY in this sport…

Based on Simon’s dimensions his position is quite good… he has been fit and quite well. (not sure how you can critique his position in static picture AND w/o understanding his biomechanics, or his bodily dimensions (leg length, arm length, torso length etc.)
Lessing is lucky to have Dave Scott coach him, I almost ran over DaveS a few years back when he was at IMC commentating for TV!
