Who's your pick for IMNZ?

LOL… I wouldn’t think I would be missed, I’m touched

Anyway, been busy finishing some work on a hobbie of mine… PhD thesis :-p

“I’m touched”

Hey! stop touching yourself! This is a family show…

Bet. You got it. I’ll take the field.

paypal funds right?

Cam is tough but he has to reverse form and there a plenty of others improving.

You think? You clearly missed the Limar ad the other day…

Sweet… we’re on.

The race should finish around 1030 hrs where I live so if the worst happens (and I only mean that as far as my paypal account goes) just pm me your account details and you will have the cash shortly after that.

Now its really going to be a cracker!

What are the start and approx finish times in the Pacific Time Zone?

I think we all know who I will be rooting for.

I am torn between wanting to see Bjorn backup his Swim/Bike with a comparable run, and seeing Gordo winning his first ironman. I am sure that it is going to be a great race if it lives up to half of it’s buildup. Lots of compelling storylines makes this the most exciting Ironman outside of Kona to me.

I just hope that my hotel room in Columbus, OH has a high speed connection.

You’ll be rooting for ME maybe? (send pics:-)

I would love Gordo to take it but I think it will still be Cameron if he races as well as he has in the past for IMNZ. I say this because in one of Gordo’s recent interviews he mentions something like if you put Cameron’s slowest times at IMNZ for the past 5 years for each event together, the finish time would still be faster than Gordo’s best IMNZ performance. I love watching Gordo’s improvement, but that would be one helluva improvement!

Shortis
.

Shortis decided not to come to NZ - he is going to try and chase down Macca one more time. that’s a good choice for him with his 8:15 in WA he is looking like he’s ready to take it to Macca a bit. If he could run 2:45 in Forster it could be a race!!!

Bryan Rhodes is doing IMNZ now - he wasn’t on the list before, but he’s had trouble on this course in the past few years - so is a bit of an unknown.

  1. Brown 8:26:35
  2. Byrn 8:29:08
  3. Björling 8:32:32

I see Andrea Ratkovic is racing…if she has a decent swim and her achilles holds up on the run she could do really really well. I hope she has a great race; she has overcome a lot and the sport would do well to have her on a podium or two.

Times down to the second?

Are you clairvoyant? or what

3B’s I can see the headlines now

one of reasons rhodes might have had trouble in past is that he has backed up imnz from im malaysia.

personalluy i think cam brown will win.

I got a mtn bike race on Sat. but will be back on Sunday, if Cam wins it, I’ll hit you with paypal on Sun.

Just to remind you guys of who me and Sergio predicted for the win down in IMNZ
