So they just did a leader board at mile 4o of the bike, and Bjorn is still about 2 and a half minutes up on the group, but I dont see Matt Reed in there anymore. ANyone know what happened to him?? I felt that he would leave that group and solo behind Bjorn, maybe a flat?? Most lilkley the spotters missed him is my guess…

Just saw this in the updates…He is an old lifeguard buddy that used to work for me, didnt know he was racing half ironmans these days. Good swim for him, if there had been some surf he would have smoked the top pros in the water, great waterman… I will be following his progress in the other sports, hope he has been training in them…
Oh ya, forgot to add happy birthday to Bjorn, he turns 30 today too. I think he is trying to give himself his B-day present. He should be in T2 in a couple minutes…

So I timed the splits from the actual video they have, Bjorn has 2:20 on the Swiss guy, and 3:10 on the Reed, Potts, group. Looks like about 6 guys in that group… ABout 5:10 on Beke, so Bjorn will have to hump it for a $$ spot, top 8 I think…
