Incidently, after wrestling with two different bikes in numerous iterations over the last three years and never finding a comfortable fit, I ordered a new bike frame last week.
Ironically, as I was experimenting with my bar length/seat position to try and explian what I was looking for, I think I stumbled upon position nirvana. Of course, to acheive it, I had to use the shortest stem I could find (85mm), and an old Profile forward post. The goal of the new frame is to acheive the same position with a regular seatpost and a normal stem. We shall see.
Incidentally, the new bike will be 700c based off the frame builders recommendation. You don’t have any old 700c aero race wheels laying about do you?

Referencing the title of my thread. . .No Friggin Way Dude. . .You ain’a gittin no wheels outta me. . .there. . .thats out of my system (pent up energy from a fantastic Officer of the Day duty last night).
Really though, I have no extra wheels these days (don’t ask Michele that question. . .she’d probably beg to differ) I have the PowerTap/CXP-33 wheel, a set of Mavic Classics, a set of Mavic Cosmos, a set of Hed Alps, and a set of H3s. I’ll be adding a Renn 575 disc in the next couple of months, completing my wheelset stable. That pretty much covers the spectrum.
What frame are you going with? I’m personally glad to see you giving up the ghost on that P2. It was a nice frame, but didn’t fit you very well. Anyway. . .
