who’s going? Should be fun and hot, real hot.
will be there and can’t wait
hope to get done before the killer heat - heard the run will be shady - anyone know if that is true???
What about wet suits - gotta figure NO
Count me in. Can’t wait to give the new P3/Renn disk a real shakedown. I’m coming from the midwest and am really looking forward to the heat and humidity. Love to race in those conditions. According the locals on the IMNA chat page wetsuits are highly unlikely. Bummer for us rockfish!

Bring your wetsuits…friend of mine in the area took a temp yesterday and it was 76. With the weather this week it might squeak over 78 but definitely not close to 84 so if you aren’t going for an award it will be an option. He road most of the bike as well and said road condition was good for all but about 6 miles. Flat and fast (few rollers over a 25 mile section) so the disks will be humming. Good luck.

I have been monitoring a lake 100 miles SOUTH of Disney for a month. It is only 78 and has stayed 78 for a week. When you look at the high and low air temp and derive a mean temp, the water temp in the lake stays very close to the mean temp. With the air temp remaining aproximately the same for the next week ( according to NOAA weather), and infact a number of cloudy and partly cloudy days will happen next week, I can’t see that the water temp will change more than a degree or two by next Sunday. Like everything… be ready to swim with it or without it.
I know the whole idea that wetsuits make you faster and help you float, but i like the feel of the water, and in mid to high seventies for water temp, i think i would just overheat and dehydrate with a wetsuit. Remember, its better to swim a little slower, if it means youll be better off for the rest of the race, IMO (i also hate wetsuits, hate the closed in feeling)
