Did you see the mechanic working on Chavanel’s bike? He was standing on the roof of a support car (while it was moving) working on his seatpost, absolutely nuts!

I saw that, pretty cool IMO.
We taped it but have not yet had a chance to watch it. Sounds kind of humorous especially when you take into account that from the descriptions I have read, unless the mechanic from Mavic’s neutral support was actually trying to remove the seat from the bike, it was kind of futile as seems that he was trying to remove the “seat post” from a Time VX frame as that frame uses an integrated seat mast - no seat post to remove!
A group got together to watch the Paris-Roubaix after a training ride. Nice way to spend a Sunday. Probably do the same this weekend for the Amstel Gold.

Looked like he had done that before…very adept at getting from inside car to top of car with no missteps.
And the bike was a ‘neutral service bike’ with strap pedals, and he was trying to adjust the seat post up/down and side-to-side.
