She has found Weird Al Yankovic on iTune Music Store.
I haven’t heard all his songs, so when ‘Constipated’ came on, I was pretty much ROFL with her.

Weird Al — well that’s all right. There are about 764 current “role models” that could be messing with her head more detrimentally than Weird Al. Consider yourself fortunate!
Man…too funny. I saw Weird Al in “concert” with my Dad when he first, first came to the radio on Doctor Demento… It was at the Country Club in the Valley. I think it was the very early 80’s
Its a fun memory with my dad I won’t forget…
He is a brilliant beatiful gift to humanity. Listen Genuis In France off the Poodle Hat CD.
I was just listening to him on the way home today… I remember listening to “Dare to be Stupid” when I was in high school… Being a geek, I still like “The Saga Begins…” but it lacks the punch from say, “Trigger Happy” or “Pretty Fly for a Rabbi”…
I better load some up on the MP3 player for tomorrow’s 6.5hr brick

I used to let my sons and the rest of the carpool play his tapes in the car on the way to school. We loved singing along. The other carpool moms couldn’t understand how I could stand it. They just didn’t recognize creative genius when they heard it. Better than Yani or John Tesh for a van load of adolescents.

Or Rap or young “artists” projecting a slutty image or drug-referencing lyrics. Come to think of it; there’s rarely a compelling new artist these days.
When I was a kid I used to love listening to “Dr. Demento” on the radio–lots of hilarious parody songs. I think “Weird Al” must have listened to it to. Anybody still remember that show?
Oh yes, I remember Dr. Demento. Interesting that some of the very old stuff he played, my dad had, as a kid, on acetate 78’s. Lot’s of Spike Jones and such. I think my brother has those old records stored somewhere, if they aren’t already dust.

I agree 100%.
never thought I’d hear Weird al and genius in the same sentence…
Sometimes very funny yes. Genius??? you gotta be joking…
Hey - France thinks Jerry Lewis is a genius.
No. Americans think France thinks JL is genius…
ya! remember “fish heads”? whatever happened to Dr. Demento?
Why the French love Jerry Lewis http://www.sup.org/book.cgi?book_id=3893%203894
