So, specifically with reference to things like powertools - I was was walking thru the local big box hardware store, and they have house-brand power tools - they are inexpensive, but appear to be quite well made - does anyone know of a website that would allow you to figure out if they are made by another, more reputable name?
Similarly, I was looking at Craftsman and Bosch routers the other day - other than the colors, they were nearly identical. Anyone know anything about this end of manufacturing?
