Is that CPSC certified? Don’t you think that helmet might be a bit heavy for longer rides? I think the ‘wings’ need to be feathered back more for a a true aero advatage.

If you mean cool as in well ventilated, then Specialized seems to have excellent design. A CU test a few years ago identified the M1 (I think) as best ventilated of that group. The S1, not tested, looked even better, and the Decibel now appears at least similar. Also, last time I checked, Specialized was the only major helmet company to go to the trouble and expense of obtaining Snell Foundation certification for their helmets.
SHAIN – BK1000
SHAIN is the only helmet company using materials that can absord multiple impact accidents such as:
your head hits the windsheild, then it hits the ground, then it skids into the curb.
SHAIN helmets are used by Lampre among others.
