I’ll be there. I am a little concerned though because I drove the bike course earlier this week and noted that the early partof the bike route is closed d/t full blown construction. The road itself is down to sand/gravel over a ?nonworking? bridge. They will HAVE to reroute the bike course, and I don’t know if they even know it yet. I have seen no updates when I go to the usatriathlon website.

just got in tonight. Weird thing is my bike arrived on the flight, but they lost my bag with all my clothes etc. Hopefully it will show up tomorrow or I’ll be racing in jeans and a button down shirt.
Super cool thing, went to Budget to pick up my car and was talking to the counter guy, turns out he used to run for Western Kentucky years ago and we knew people between us. He upgraded my car rental to an SUV for the price of a compact.
I’m en route with 2 friends. We left the Hudson Valley Friday afternoon, and spent the night in Carlisle, PA, hometown of duathlon’s biggest bad ass, Josh Beck. We decided not to crash his home so he can stay focused on Powerman Zofingen which is coming up soon. We’re off to waffle house, then back on the road to Mason.
