I decided to buy a computrainer and it seems like the best deal can be had by shipping to a US address. If I can have it sent to you and brought here I have an awesome bottle of Osoyoos Larose Le Grand Vin 2004, one of the best Okanagan vintages available. Or a 24 of one of our great local beers if you prefer.
Cheers
Ship it to me. I’ll make sure you’ll get it
I know this guy who has had great luck re-shipping HED products…
I’m not doing IMC this year … but I think you might be getting a well meaning helper into trouble at the border with your request. For the past 4 IMC’s I’ve crossed the border from the US, but have always been asked whether I’m carrying merchandise and have been inspected fairly regularly. A computrainer would be a fairly large object to hide and if you don’t declare it, I suspect someone might not be crossing the border for the race or paying a large fine. I’ve been asked fairly regularly about bikes and even had luggage inspected once.
Maybe you know better, but I think your request might be a little risky.

I would have mentioned that to any volunteers. Simple way around that is to unpackage it and throw it into a bag. If a border guard were to ask, it is a training tool. Not really a big deal.
Ok, I wasn’t planning on it but maybe Icould be talked into it.
