Big bicycle buying year this year. 14 year old son has outgrown his Trek and last race of the season last year he decided to drop the whole transition rack on the top tube…Wife is in desperate need of an upgraded bike, will be a road bike, mid level, carbon, 105or Rival. My Scott CR1 was stolen last June and I am in need of a new road bike. Santa brought my seven year old a new road bike as well. What am I doing on ST? I need to be earning some money!!! I just counted about $8000 in bicycles? Oh crap.
I think I am going to appeal to the Federal Government for some sort of bicycle bail out plan.

I ordered the frameset and it arrived last Tuesday. Built it up entirely myself (a first). I’ve got about 100 miles on it and she’s a sweetie. I have a P3C 51cm with 700c wheels. This is a 48cm with 650c wheels. She has her own unique style. She’s a little hot rod and she goes up hills really nicely. I can’t wait to race her.

I’m not able to view you photo here at work but I remember while surfing at home that you have the same bike I ordered.
Mine will be the Ultegra model though. Shop claims it will be in near the end of the month.

Fortunately, my wife believes Valentines Day is just an evil marketing scheme concocted by the flower and jewelry industries. So I have a green light to race the Tundra TT on 2/14. (But I’ll still pick up some flowers on the drive home to hedge my bet.)
I ordered my 2009 new bike on September 16, 2008. It ain’t here YET!! 4 months and counting. I’ll agree that I could have one right now but in the wrong color. I’m waiting for the last size and last color to be made : (

Just finally finished assembling my race ready Valdora PHX loaded w/ Red. I love the frame and am amazed at how light and solid a carbon bike can be. My first carbon bike after 17 yrs in the sport.
