Who has both Xmas Eve & day gift openings?

With parents, X,s , older children, one has to give time to two or three groups. We have an old European traditional Eve dinner & gift thing , and a 6 am around the tree, package ripping Christmas Day for the other gang.

Post yours , Eve / Day / Both ?

We always did the eve thing with our entire extended family opened family gifts there. Morning was for Santa gifts. We continue a similar tradition now with my kids, only the extended family is in all parts of the country, so we don’t see too many relatives too often.

Yep. Parents & in-laws house on Eve. Just my wife, my kids, and myself Christmas morning. This is the first year we haven’t put any presents under the tree before christmas eve. We’re gonna wait and let “Santa” do it. :wink:

One down , one to go, Mom made the potato salad and red cabbage, we brought the ham .She got a new stereo, Bose speakers and a small subwoofer , to crank up her opera music.
