Put the kid to bed, cleaned up the house (4 other kids and their parents were here) Then hit the hay.

I’ve got a wicked flu right now. BCtrigirl and I watched a movie and I passed out around 10.

9:55 p.m. Made it to the east coast dawning of the new year, but not quite to the central time zone. Alas, maybe this year.

10 PM here, staying up late with a bunch of drunken folks hasn’t appealed to me for many years.
TV off and lights out at 9:50pm EST. Woke up on Jan 1st at 4:00am, though, dammit!
9.5 yrs of sobriety. I have not made it to midnight 8 of those 9 yrs. The first yr I stayed up cause I “didn’t want to miss anything.” After that I realized there was nothing to miss.
10pm here. Can’t remember the last time I made it to midnight on New Years eve
Nice meal out with a group of friends at 5pm, quiet walk through town, then home and chill out. Bed around 10… same as the other 364 days…
10:00PM. Can’t remember the last time I stayed up for midnight, last time we went out for New Years was in the late 90s.
Yep, I’m sick. Took my meds, drank a couple beers, passed out ~10:30.
In bed before 11, but done by 11:50 so still got to see the new year in.
