Who are your favorite Sit Com Characters?

I like my TV . Being a creature of habit & routine , I usually end my day getting horizontal and watching TV re-runs while eating, stretching ,massage , etc.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m curious to see who watches what as far as comedy . Me , I’m nuts about the King of Queens. Arthur Spooner just cracks me up ! I think I’ve watched every episode at least twice . Another character is the airplane mechanic on Wings, Lowell . Reminds me of an old friend that I miss dearly.

Others I like:

3- Barney Fife
4- John Corbett in the role of the town DJ in Northern Exposure. Cool dude~
5- Frank Barone - Raymond’s Dad on Everybody Loves Raymond

Who are your faves ???

Jack Tripper … everything he does is funny.

BA Barakus … No explanantion needed.

Archie Bunker … the single greatest sit-com personality in the history of TV.

JJ Evans … y’know everything gonna be alright … cuz I’m Kid Dyn-o-mite!

Carlton Banks … the cool guy from Silver Spoons is the ultimate dork on The Fresh Prince.

Boner Stabone & Mike Seaver … the figureheads for males of my generation.

Alex P. Keeton … The second greatest sit-com personality in TV history.

TV personality I’d most like to headbutt in the face repeatedly … Screech.

Jack Tripper ! I forgot how cool he was .

Bobby from King of the Hill is a funny lil fu@ker too !

Kramer, Peter Griffen of Family Guy, both Gob and Buster from Arrested Development, Mr. Roper, Dwight and Michael from The Office, Lowell from Wings, Louie Depalma.

Honorable mention: Joey from Friends, The Fonz, Larry David.

Seinfeld - I could watch the damn things over and over and just giggle like my kids

Fox Mulder from the X-files. So cynical

Marilyn from Northern Exposure - the also cynical nurse/assistant to Dr. Joel

Jamie Presley on “My Name is Earl” is definitely my current favorite. Rainn Whatshisname (Dwight) from “The Office” is a close second. Thursday night is some fine TV these days.

Alex P. Keeton … The second greatest sit-com personality in TV history.

No doubt one of the all-time greats. Marty McFly was a classic as well. MJF can do no wrong in my book.

The entire cast of That 70s Show!

Bill McNeal - News Radio

Dr. Cox - Scrubs

The Fonz - Happy Days

I’d try to pick one from MASH, but it’s too much of an ensemble

Coach - Cheers

Al Bundy - Married with Children

Red - That 70’s Show

Gilligan
.

Rod,

Marilyn and Ed Chigliak ( sp ? )were great characters on that show.

As far as Sienfeld , I might be creating sitcom Hare Kari here , but I don’t find the show as funny as I used to . Don’t get me wrong, I still think Costanza is the biggest , funniest a-hole ever , but I find myself passing on the show more often.

Oddly enough, I now find shows like Fawlty Towers funny . Just a few years ago I couldn’t bare to watch an episode.

The whole cast of Seinfeld.

Woody & coach from cheers

Most of the cast from The Office

Fred Sanford

“Hey there little buddy”
.

Kelso from That 70’s Show absolutely slays me if for no other reason he reminds me of some of my old fraternity bros from way back when.
It’s definitely NOT a sit com but Janice and Paulie from The Sopranos are often, unintentionally, hilarious to me.
Not a regular but Papi from Seinfeld is funny…characters that have accents always make me laugh for some reason.
Big Gay Al from SouthPark…“I’m SUPER, thanks for asking!”. Just typing that makes me laugh.
Old School Sit Com = Chico from Chico & The Man. “LOOKING GOOD!!!”
Ernie Pantuso AKA Coach from Cheers
Freddie “Boom Boom” Washington & Epstein from Welcome Back Kotter “Hi There!! and of course …signed Epstein’s Mother”

Good Lord I watch too much television.

I’d like to add Niles Crane and Robert Barone and to please my dad, Lucas McCain (The Rifleman)
.

Maxwell Smart - Get Smart

Gomez Addams - Addams Family

Richard Fish - Ally McBeal
.

15 freakin’ responses and no Homer yet?!?!?!?!?

Homer Simpson

Stewie Griffen

Dale Gribble

Earl’s brother Randy (My Name is Earl)

Brad
.

Got to agree with Slowguy

Bill McNeil
Dr Perry Cox
and have to add Sgt Schultz Hogan’s Heros
.

I just remembered Oscar Madison from the Odd Couple. Cigar-chomping,sportswriter,womanizer all around cool dude from the 70’s . I miss that show.

The kid next door to the Cleavers- Eddie ? Anyone else other than me think June Cleaver was kind of a Hottie ?
