White Stripes confession

jhc - good choices.

Al P Duez - I live and breath by my Jecky and Hyde, Tele or Strat and my Classic 30.

Sid - their next on my list.

Now, if I could only improvise over “Well You Needn’t” at 200 bpm…

I’m all over the place with my playing…A jazz combo gig with teacher mid Oct, Then Stones, Clapton, Beatles, Ventures and T. Bone Walker for an upcoming ferderforum.com jam.

The weather is changing here with Fall upon us (broke out the leg and arm warmers for the first time this am). Although Hawaii sounds good too, except for the price of bread and milk.

I’ve gone pretty soft living here, I’m sure I’d freeze my butt off there now. My college roommate keeps me updated when he’s getting snowed on…kj

There is nothing better than the cool crisp air of fall in Colorado after a hot sweltering summer. Aspens changing and all. I came upon a herd of deer yesterday where the lead buck stopped, stared me down, and blocked my way down the path. It was the first time I ever had to take a different route due to a hostile deer.

BTW “In the End” is a great LP song and so is the WS “The Hardest Button to Button” (just to keep the music theme going in this thread).

My daughter is obesessed with Breaking the Habit, which is good because before that it was Beyonce’s Naughty Girl.

Your daughter is hip, while my 8 yr old is listening to Hillary Duff. But she is cool too in her own way, the coolest.

Ha-me too  I sent copy of their latest CD to my daughter who just went off to college and she just laughed at me; but she did thank me for the CD.

http://www.brokenbricks.com/compression.jpg Ok but you forgot the A Boss CS-3
(Compression / Sustainer)

I own one, so I haven’t forgotten

I was just pointing out the stuff used on “Seven Nation Army”…

do you play?

Yep, in a band of mature (old) triathletes called “Gravity Tattoo.”.

Cool - what sort of tunes do you play?

An eclectic mix of jam band (phish, moe.), cracker and rem, and some classics such as pink floyd, grand funk, and the band. We also play some more popular covers that I don’t particularly care for as I have more obscure taste.

You know, with the compressor and the tube screamer, I wondered whether you weren’t a fan of the classic Trey tone…

I’m in a pseudo-band that does Wilco covers right now… lots of fun.

Awesome, I’m a big Jeff Tweedy fan; been following since back in the Uncle Tupelo days.

Ummm… If someone steals all your music collection tomorrow… it was me. Sorry.

I’m of the opinion most things jam band related are good. And everything else you listed.

Can I burn it when you’re done listening to it?

Is that you on the left?
