I am looking into getting a cover from wheelbuilder.com. I have a red Equinox. Most of the wording on the frame is white. The exposed cables and the aero bars have white tape. Most of the saddle is white. I have a Hed H3 for up front. Any thoughts on which wheel cover would look better?

I went white. I’ve got a white theme going as well on my Cervelo P2c w/ cables, the new white Profile cx3s and a white saddle. I think the white wheel cover is pretty cool looking on there.

Any pics of your wheel cover? I have a White Planet X myself, and just decided on a white wheelcover. It is actually sitting on my doorstep tonight. Took me a while to decide as well which color to get.

true, but it would be hard to get the tape to look clean with a white on black edge. Just my opinion.
Ya, I gotta vote black. I have the Look 596 in white and gold. 90% white. I photoshopped a white disc before I decided how to paint mine. The white was way over the top. Black looks alot better. I even have white aerobars, but the white disc did not look right at all. I custom painted my zipp disc with gold accents.

Maybe some people tape their wheel-covers, but mine (wheelbuilder) comes with plastic screws that hold it in place.
Plus, you can draw stuff on it with sharpies.

You should try painting it Gold.
Not enough gold in the frame and that gold on the frame is a thin accent. I tried it in photoshop, too. Here’s the disc with the gold accent.
Here is how my planet X ended up with the white wheelcover.
i would go white. it sounds like you won’t have too much white with a red frame - plus it’s different than all the black discs out there. just get white electrical tape (if you use the tape). if the tape gets dirty, take it off and put on new - tape is cheap.
put a white one on my 404’s to go on my Wilier …very pleased !
