As much as I don’t like Obama and I think he or at least Holder need to be held accountable for all this ATF crap. This is really an indictment of how modern law enforcement works. It is common practice in sting operations for police to commit crimes to catch peaple committing the same crimes. That just doesn’t make sense to me, but I guess if the gov’t is doing it, it is ok. Other examples:
- Vice Squads frequenting strip clubs and getting raw lap dances (skin to skin) to arrest stripers for giving raw lap dances.
- Selling massive amounts of drugs at a street level to convince those higher up the chain that you can be trusted so that you can eventually arrest him.
- Fast and Furious, no need to say more.
- The FBI bragged at one point that one out of four members of the national KKK leadership were FBI undercover agents or informant.
Until we come to terms with how bad these methods are, we can expect more incidents like this. The LEO community is more pissed off one of their own was killed as a result of a poor sting than the destructive nature of the sting to begin with.

What about nearly every terrorist arrest. I mean the one real credible threat, the guy messed up and got caught on a plane after the fact. Every other instance was some idiot who had the misfortune of coming across an FBI informant or undercover agent who promised the training and supplies need to fullfil their unrealistic fantasies. In otherwords, they were harmless wannabes until they met they met the feds.
There is a great video on youtube of a lawyer telling you to never talk to an LEO, ever under any circumstances. The best part is that he then has an LEO tell the audience he is indeed correct.

While any number of murders is tragic for the victims and their families, the trend has been downward under President Obama.
Were murders in question committed the U.S.?
The murder rate has gone down because
- job-killing Obama means fewer people can afford guns
- people who already own guns are hoarding ammo due to Second Amendment-hating Obama
- greater population growth due to lax Obama immigration policies
I see a pattern here.

That is actually not true. The ones you hear about in the media get publicized because since they are sting operations, sources and methods won’t be compromised. Plus the way these operations work is not always portrayed accurately in the media. The suspect has to approach the FBI agent and propose the method and target of the attack. All the FBI agent can do is say “I can help you with that.” But the suspect has to initiate everything - otherwise it’s entrapment. I’m simplifying a little, but these guys they have been busting are far from harmless.
