White Cable Housing? (1)

Building up a Felt AR4 frameset and am looking for some good white brake/derailleur cables. After talking with SuperDave, it seems that the AR4 works best with Dura-Ace-sized cables (Nokons, for example, would not be an ideal fit with the internal cable routing). As far as I know, DA housing does not come in white. Can anyone recommend either recommend some cables that come w/white housing or where I can purchase just the white cable housing (if that will work w/my Shimano cables)? Thanks for the help!

I have some Jagwires on my MTB that work well, you’ll have to check for compatibility with your frame.

I’ll second the Jagwire. I used Jagwire titanium on my new bike and it works great.

I’d also suggest Jagwire. I think you’d be suprised at *who *uses CCC/Jagwire to produce their housing.

As to Dura Ace, AFAIK it is available in white, and I also think the Di2 wires will have color options soon as well. The Shimano stuff you need is SP41, it needn’t be labeled Dura Ace specifically.

If you opt for Jagwire, I suggest you use compressionless rear brake housing. It offers a much firmer lever feel. I think the name for it is “KEB-type”

Second the Jagwire option. They sell a whole kit that will work for derailers and brakes on road/mtb. Here is a good deal right now.
