do you follow the old berry rule (below) or any color rule, when it comes to choosing bike, helmet, kit, or shoe color?
White and yellow, kill a fellow. Purple and blue, good for you. Red’s that’s fifty-fifty…could be good, could be dead.

Team kit is white, yellow and back. So no. I think you’re pretty visible when you look like a bumble bee.
Heh, never heard that rule.
White and black bikes, it depends on the graphics scheme. Red I don’t like, just too many red bikes out there. I really like less common colors, dark forest green, orange, etc.
John
I used to ride a green Tomassini road bike which I picked up for a scream. I was told I got such a deal due to the belief in Europe that green bikes were cursed and no European rider would own one.
I did pretty well on that green machine, so I guess the curse did not make it across the pond.
The curse, Guess that is why the Bianchi riders do so badly. I like the seafoam green myself.
That’s not green, that’s “celeste”. Love that color BTW.
I think the curse only hold true for microsoft start button “green” or so I am told.
Never ride a bike that looks better than you off it than on it.
Yes. But then I also use this one:
Red on Black,
Friend of Jack.
Red on Yellow,
Watch out, Fellow.
Which is why none of my bikes have red on yellow.
you’re in coral snake territory? red next to yellow, kill a fellow?
naaa. i’m in Massasauga country.
see patches of brown & black…better stay back.
