Which tire for IM Lake Placid?

Hello:

I need to buy some new tires for IM Lake Placid and was wondering what to get. I will be riding tubular Zipp 808s with a wheel cover. I was looking at 21mm Vittoria Crono Evo CS, but was wondering if there was a downside to running such a light tire in an IM. I will have 21mm Vittoria Evo CX tires for my spares (they’re on the bike now).

I’m not sure how this will affect your tire choice but there are some really bad roads on the LP bike course, especially in the first 10-15 miles.
