Silence-Lotto: The team had its hardships this year, but they would have a nice 1-2 punch with AC and Evans (assuming he still has it).
Euskatel is Basque where as I think AC is Spanish (thee is a big diferance) more probably CAISSE D’EPARGNE or the new spanish team being put together which is going to be sponsored by Santander

I thought it was given he was going to a new Spanish team fronted by F1’s Fernando Alonso? Seems like the most logical option of all those mentioned so far.
One thing is most likely to happen: he will leave Astana. With Vino coming back there’s no way Astana’s patrons will leave a spanish boy lead their them.
I would put my money on a Spanish team as well. Either with Alonso moving to Cycling or teaming up with Valverde and Oscar Pereiro at CE.

And, furthermore, I think that the Euskaltel Euskadi team member have to be basque (Spanish, but more specifically Basque).

Contador is from Madrid and the Basques hate them. Goes back to Franco and even further. I read some comments from spectators in Barcelona earlier in this years Tour and they were like cheering for Lance and everyone else BUT Contador…

Who knows where Contador will land. My suspicion is that it will be on a team where, in addition to being the strongest rider, he’ll also be the designated leader.
If the team isn’t strong enough and the DS isn’t in control, it’s possible that Contador won’t win the Tour next year.
