Changing to Rotors and shorter cranks for hip impingement.
I don’t know shinola about cranks.
currently ride a 2011 Cervelo P3 with 10 speed dura ace, 167.5 cranks
what should I get?
Recommended by Rotor:
3 D plus 160 crankset, 110 or 130 bolt 53/39 Q rings, Press fit 30 Bottom bracket, New chain
This sound right? Do I need anything else to bring to my LBS for installation?
I’d be a bit concerned about the assumption of shorter cranks for hip impingement. Who made that diagnosis? If you’re riding 167.5, that’s rather short unless you’re very short yourself. I’d be testing the assumptions before critiquing the solution chosen.
You might get a better response if you said more about your hip issue, your size, weight, gender, size of the bike, etc…
A pressfit 30 BB won’t fit on your older P3.
Consider the rotor 3D, it will fit better in your threaded BB shell (it has a smaller 24mm spindle). It is also lots cheaper than the 3D+.
For BBs, Hawk Racing makes some with verified low drag bearings. If you want, this one will fit a Rotor 3D and your threaded BB:

edit: you could just leave in your dura ace 10 BB, that should fit rotor 3D cranks as well.
