I, with embarrassment, have to confess that, ST time is one more thing that needs to be watched and logged, besides calories, cups of coffees, bottles of beers etc.
I think it’s a safe bet that even in peak weeks for IM I spend more time reading ST then actually training or for that matter… working…
training = 10 hours or so.
slowtwitch = 8*5 = 40 hours
Does slowtwitch count as training? Maybe some sort of prorate? 10%?
Some of the hours can be counted as “skill training”, as I learned really good stuff here,
but being a forum junkie for several years, I know a thing or two about killing time
surfing the net.
I think that I may be guilty also. However, if I exclude time here when I am also “working” I spend much more time training.
Sad but true!
I should also mention that ST has not directly influenced my training hours yet, on the other hand, it has slowed me down to a great extent during work, and I know that when it comes to give results to my supervisor in a few months, I will have to make for the lost hours by compromising on training. Crisis I call it, and I see it coming, lol.
