Rev 3 Cedar Point.
Cedar Point should be cooler and it looks really, really flat
.
Not to totally hijack your post but any other suggestions for good first time IM courses?
Wilmington - Beach2Battleship.
2nd B2B if you want a non M-Dot race. Fast swim as it is tidal and course is flat and fast. I think general entry is still open and less expensive than an IMDot race.
IMCdA is beautiful. Great course and has hills. General Entry closed for 2010.
Ok, so I’ve decided I’m ready for the iron distance. I’m signing up for B2B whenever it opens for next year (I’m assuming Dec 09).
So let me ask a few questions:
How does the Tran bags work in respect to the different locations. Do you set up each at the T1 and T2, or only at T1, and they just hand you your bag in T2.
As far as special needs bags, when do we get all our stuff back? Do they have all the bags ready for you when you finish or do you have to wait till the next day.
Last year they seemed to have the water taxi issues. They said they were fixing it with more taxi’s or faster service, etc… but let me ask. Is there any other way to get your stuff and leave the race site? Or do you have to sit and wait for the water taxi?
Lone Star 1/2 in Galveston on the calendar here. Awesome race and is going to be a week or two later in 10 to open up with the water park… plenty of post race fun.
