Which HR chest strap(s) work with the ergomo?

I can’t seem to get my ergomo to pick up my HR from my timex chest strap.
Is this because they are incompatible? Do I need an ergomo specific strap??
did I miss something in the set up/settings?
and no, the batteries aren’t dead, tried that first.

The polar compatible chips work (polar, nike, etc.), but unfortunately the timex uses a different chip. I have the same problem.

I would contact ERGOMO. If anything, the none coded Polar T-31 belts usually worked with many 3rd party units, not sure about your unit

Both the coded and non-coded Polar chest straps work.

the polar WIND wearlink strap doesn’t work (this is the one used with the RS800 unit)
